The Vikings of the Scandinavia used elaborate metal armbands, or torques with sculpted animal heads and rune designs as a symbol of adulthood, maturity in battle, allegiance and belonging. Many of these bands have been found in burial mounds in Scandinavia and across the British isles. Our versions are modernized versions based on original archaeological finds. Not replicas.
These are cast in pewter and plated with silver and surface treated. They are slightly flexible for easy open and closing, and don't smudge your skin even if exposed to sweat or rain.
